The ‘crawler track’ or ‘chain track’ devised in 1904 by David Roberts,  later field trials took place for the ‘Hornsby Steam Crawler Track Tractor’, in Grantham, Lincolnshire, England - (Feb/Mar 1910), and “by Jove” they made a promotional film too!
